I love working with salvaged tissue paper. I apply it to canvas using a paintbrush and watered-down white glue. I like to call the technique “painting with paper”. All of the tissue papers are salvaged from thrift stores, reuse centers, holiday packaging, store packaging, old sewing patterns, and more. I also use other porous papers like paint-stained paper towels, napkin samples, used coffee filters, and crepe paper.
